This was such a fun week of interviewing it girls and events in NYC so I wanted to do a quick round up of outfits. I have really been leaning into all trends I keep hearing about and seeing on the street, I really think the outfits on the streets of NYC this summer are going to be so fun and playful.

I was stopped 3 times about this dress, it is so good!! It runs a little big/lose hence the belt but she is fabulous. I felt like such a Chloe girl and I spent less than $200 on the dress and belt.

One Shoulder and Jorts

I never thought I’d be saying I wore jorts but… they’re cool. I’m sorry. One shoulders are back too… I’m sorry again. Sometimes we have to just embrace it, it’s so crazy, it works! Buy the Levi jorts now before summer hits and they’re gone, I promise they’re going to be everywhere.

Canadian Tuxedo and A Vintage Shoe

Ugh I love a Canadian tuxedo… it is just always chic. There are so many ways you can style it and as I was running out the door my mom told me to change into a vintage shoe. I was like you know that I love it, it’s unexpected instead of a boot. I felt very fun and I had yet to wear these La Croix heels. I love them to add some vintage 50’s polka dot energy to a more 80’s style.

P.S. The Canadian Tuxedo was actually coined in the 50’s when a singer was denied entry to a bar in Vancouver, CA for his outfit (I’ll let you guess what he was wearing ;)) but didn’t gain popularity as a style until the 80’s.
